A technology list does not explain your experience
A list of frameworks, cloud services and databases can show exposure. It does not show the situation in which you used them, the responsibility you held or the engineering decision you made.
For the work most relevant to your target role, add enough context for another technical professional to understand your contribution without needing the full project history.
Build important points from evidence you can support
Choose a small number of projects or outcomes that match the role. For each one, separate the wider team result from your own work and keep the wording within what you can explain in a follow-up conversation.
- Context: What product, system or delivery problem was being addressed?
- Ownership: Which part did you personally design, implement, test or lead?
- Decision: What choice did you make and which constraint shaped it?
- Result: What changed, and how was that change observed or verified?
- Boundary: Which result belonged to the wider team rather than to you alone?
Keep the resume and public profile consistent
Different formats need different levels of detail, but the underlying facts should agree. A resume may contain a concise project point while a public profile gives more context. Neither should imply ownership you cannot explain.
If applications are not leading to conversations, use the job-search stage check before assuming the problem is technical interview performance.
Test every important point aloud
Take each major project point and explain it in one or two minutes. Then ask what an interviewer could reasonably question next. If the point is accurate but the explanation becomes vague, the resume wording may be stronger than the evidence heard in conversation.
